Maximum allowable donation?
For 2026, you can give a total of $1,429.70 to a local elections candidates or elector organizations per campaign. More information can be found here on the Elections BC website.
You can make a campaign contribution if you are:
- a resident of B.C., and
- a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
Organizations cannot make campaign contributions or reimburse individuals for making campaign contributions.
E-transfer
When you contribute through Interac eTransfer, 100% of your donation goes directly toward supporting the campaign, with no processing fees deducted.
