As the founding director of Fateh Care Charity and operating a mobile food bank service, Harjas Singh Popli is building more than a nonprofit, he is building trust, listening and responding to what real people experience. For Harjas, strangers helping strangers is an act of community and grounds the compassionate mission of Fateh Care, showing up and uplifting others when and where it matters: with healthy food baskets at the doorstep.

Fateh Care supports seniors, newcomers, individuals with disabilities, and families of all kinds navigating financial hardship, and has been doing so since the height of the pandemic across the entire Capital Regional District.
